John Reese and the others at BlogRush, they listen to what we as users say. And to prove that, they are working on creating different "flavors" or colors that we can use instead of the standard black BlogRush widget color.

Here is a sample picture of what some of the BlogRush "flavors" may look like. Pretty cool eh?

I can't wait to see what BlogRush looks acts like 6 months from now, it's going to be great!

You might want to read this article:

BlogRush accepted a lot of members and got them to promote their service. And how did BlogRush repay them? They deactivated their blogs and removed them from the system.

They did this to over 10,000 people just this weekend.

I can see sites not accepting a submision. But don't accept someone's submission, get them to promote your site, and then turn around and screw them over.

Hi DH,

After reading your article I can understand your frustration. I have no idea what your blog is about, your content, or anything about it, so I can not speculate. So what I say below is in general purposes.

I have been following John Reese (Blog Rush and Income.com's owner) for several years now, and I have always had a lot of respect for him and what he does, and his products.

So how I see this situation with BlogRush is that they just grew A LOT faster then what they had thought. Which caused many issues.

Yes, in hindsight, they should have had an approval process at first. But at least they have one now.

And yes, great content, useful, good blogs should not have been suspended.

However, over 10,000 blogs were removed. That is A LOT of work... and whenever you have mass approvals/deletions, there will always be some that get deleted that maybe should not have been.

Some users were getting frustrated because of bad blogs in the system, so BlogRush stepped up and had to go through all of the blogs.

BlogRush is doing a great service in removing unwanted blogs, don't you think?

It's better for them to removed bad blogs, as well as better for it's users.

If you believe your blog is up to their standards, and maybe was removed by mistake, then just re-submit it like they say.

What is truly wrong here is why they had to delete so many bad blogs in the first place. This just shows how spam users can ruin it for a lot of people.

BlogRush did what they had to do, and I'm glad that they did.

I feel bad for you and others who may have been hit in the cross fire. I just hope that you will re-submit your blog later on.

BTW, one of my blogs was removed as well, and it wasn't a spam blog either.

One thing John Reese doesn't want you to know is BlogRush is going to sell 4 out of every 5 headline spots to the highest bidder -- and guess who keeps the cash? Hint: It's not the bloggers.

I know that BlogRush will sell ad space in the widget, that's nothing secret. John told us on his blog.

And why would it be so bad if BlogRush kept that ad space money?

I signed up to BlogRush for more traffic to my blog, and I am getting that. A lot more now too since the deletion of all of the spam type blogs.

I didn't sign up to get paid.

BlogRush has to make money somehow... and how else to them sell ad space in the widget? It's not a revenue sharing service.

And if it was... or if it ever will be, I bet there would have to be A LOT of work done to make that happen. Something that they probably don't want to do right now.. they have enough to do as it is.

We all signed up to BlogRush for more traffic, NOT money. And I assume that we all knew BlogRush needed to get paid somehow, so we got what we wanted, and so will BlogRush.
